Maternity Photos in Port Elgin at Eidts Grove

When we moved to Kincardine three years ago, we quickly found out how lucky we were to have such an abundance of beaches to choose from each summer. We have a rocky quiet beach close to our home and the busier but sandier Boiler Beach and Station Beach in Kincardine as well as Main Beach in Port Elgin. We have explored a lot but it was only last summer that we came upon the lovely beaches along Saugeen Beach Road. They are sandy with multiple sandbars making it the perfect place families with small kids so they can splash around in a shallower, warmer area, safely.

It was also the perfect choice for my maternity session with Laila and her growing family. The tail end of pregnancy can be a lot. When it coincides with an Ontario heat wave it can be unbearable but we had a lovely morning capturing them enjoying being a family of three for just a little while longer.

Many mamas worry about their toddlers cooperating during photoshoots. I always tell them not to worry. My goal is never to get that perfect everyone smiling at the camera money shot. Sometimes it happens but it's not the goal. I strive to capture the feeling of where your family is now. I see it in the way you smooth their hair, or tickle their feet or in this case the way 15-month-old Tommy kept cuddling mama’s belly.

Are you looking for a Kincardine or Port Elgin Maternity Photographer? If so, reach out and we can plan a session that tells the story of your growing family. Maternity photos are best taken 4-6 weeks before your due date, I went two weeks early with both my boys and we don’t want to miss out just in case you go early too.
